Add some sort of karma multiplayer. For example, if you didn't lost any karma for the last 24h the multiplier for prayer will go x1 and up to x5 if you din't lost karma for several days and vise versa if you kill someone your losing karma multiplayer goes up so if you kill someone too soon you lose more karma. Numbers are just examples they can be different and more balanced.
