Where do I install this and once I get it unzipped how do I run it? This looks to be a great tool!

@ OnkelBazi:

The unzip where you want. Double click on the Jar file and the program starts. Of course you have to have Java updated to version 8.

Mahlzeit,

I finally got this mod to open. It looks great like I knew it would.
Question::
When you add something to someone, is it supposed to appear immediately or when they log back into the server?

I have the same problem. Java 8 is installed correctly and my heidisql database is accessable. The server console also gives me a hint to an incoming connection, but the Admin Tool just stays in testmode, doing nothin.
In Documents there is a "LifAdmin" folder, but its empty.

Might there be some problem with my HeidiSQL Port, since I use port 3307 instead of the default 3306 ??

Well over a year between your post and the previous, and over a year between each of the previous two.

Please look before you necro a thread.

Wow, chill out man. The guy is asking a reasonable question about something specifically related to this thread. It does not matter if the last post was 1 year or 3 years.

Thread necro is for replying to a comment such as I have to you when there is no other reason but to give my 2 cents.

---

Thril you can check the post issue by testing it on the default port. If it's still not working you might have to try some google searching or try learning more about how the tool is built to understand what's happening behind the scenes.

But as a tool this is no longer supported/maintained by the original author. The database for the game has gone through major changes since the time that it was made, including but not limited to and entire rework of the skill trees.

Edit: And yes he was replying to a year+ old comment by saying he has the same issue as the previous poster (who also posted when the application was no longer maintained and after some other changes to the database structure).

How do you even start this admin tool? I can open the jar file, but the mod does not come with any instructions or readme file.... no explanation on how to use this.

upon opening the jar file you need to enter a few diferent things.

Server id
Server Port
Database
mysql user
mysql pw
steam id

I understand what to put for all of these, except for Database... i cant figure out what to put there. do I put the path of Mariadb ? or what? i just cant figure it out.

As Alakar has mentioned, this looks to be no longer supported/maintained by the original author. Unless the Author shows back up or someone else decides to champion this tool, you'll probably not find much help with it.

You can try sending a direct message to the Author, he/she might see that and give you a reply.

Good luck!
