Armorsmithing and quality

Hello dear people,

Im trying to understand the whole quality system but just when i think i get it i got smacked in the face by armorsmithing. So i made these precious (precious for me) 50ql bars right then i started making them into chains and bamm 15ql... im too scared to even try to make armor now haha how can i calculate the quality of made armor or parts? does skill level increase the ql next to item ql?

What did you expect you'd come in with 0 skill and make high Gothic plate?

The quality of iron is the least contributing factor. Odds are your skill, tools, forge, outfit, strength, and con are, compared to a master smith, deplorable.

Like any profession, don't expect to make anything of decent quality until all your contributing factors are close to or above 90.

Check this out .. skill and Hammer and Q för ore . Are important.

Also when u come higher the anvil and forge .. if u look at the differnt pieces you are Making u Will see witch parts that are important för just THAT piece.
