i can t equip weapon like simple hatchet.
I press right click then equip.
I press shortcut button (where i set hathcet) like 1 he make something but he don t equipe weapon.
like in war mode

I have the similiar problem. On newbie island I made a sling and tried to hit one on these hanging bodies, but since i got to main island i cant use sling anymore.
I can equip and use tools like saw, fishing rod ect. but cant use anything in a combat

Same thing, when entering combat mode what ever is equipped doesn't come out. It's always fists, primitive knife, primitive axe, sling and ammo pouch. It's always fists.

Can someone please help out here? I'm having the same issue. I have my scythe, sling, and two stones in my hotbar. I have them placed in inventory slots on my 'P' screen. When I enter combat stance and hit 1-4 on my keyboard, all it does is take me out of combat and unequip the selected weapon. I have no way to equip a weapon. Is this a known issue?

If someone is still stuck with this problem :
Just place again your MILICIA COMBAT SKILLS (drag/drop from milicia menu) in your 1 to 4 hotbar slots, and it should work better.
