I'm having trouble finding any real use for copper, is there one? So far as I can tell, you can't use it to make nails, tools, or anything along those lines - or am I missing something?

For the moment it haven't because money smelting isn't implented yet.

Copper is used to make cooking pots and Vostaskus, which are very important in the game.

It is also used for some items, like fountains for example.

So yes, it is used.

Copper is useless right now, and will be even after money is added to the game.
