Fight with two Weapons

"Fight with two weapons"

A great skill would be the fight with two weapons.
Suggestions to integrate this skill into the game are as follows:

-) The skill is stand-alone, such as equipment maintenance or formation.
Depending on the level of skill you get different weapons that can be guided with two hands for example:
30 daggers (which unfortunately are still missing),
60 axes,
90 swords
weapon damage increases with skill level

-) The damage of the main weapon is as high as before, the damage of the second hand should be half of the weapon damage. Since you hit with two weapons faster would be compared with two-handed weapons no imbalance.

-) You would strike with the right weapon hand as one-handed (right, up, left, down) and the left hand just does the same thing
or
-) The right weapon hand would strike like one-handed (right, up, left, down) and the left weapon hand can strike only forwards (down) (it would work like a shield strike eg with the other mouse button

-) when fighting with two weapons the player should not be able to parry/block (it would thus be a purely offensive fight alignment)

This skill would add even more variety to this wonderful game and offer even more realistic ways to develop your character

I cant say I agree with this suggestion at all.

The problem is, that style of fighting is a Hollywood invention. Yes there are people who had two weapons when they fought, but they would rarely if ever swing both at the same time, let alone take them into a real battle. The reason is it is to easy to block two weapons swung at the same time at the same arc.

It wasnt until fencing became the primary fighting style did 2 weapon fighting became popular. And even then most of the time the off-hand weapon was more of a parry device than an actual offensive item.
Don't build what you can't defend- Rule number 1.
