This seems to be some sort of failed Launcher simulator.

I was trying to play a medieval sim.

Can anyone get me past "Connection Refused"? Devs haven't updated in over 3 hours.

The servers are currently down, which is prefectly normal as this game is in a beta state and not a stable release. Just wait a few more hours or until tomorrow and they will hopefully bring us an update.
