LiF:Your Own (version 1.1.2.7)

Post by Arrakis » 29 Jul 2016, 14:05

Hey everyone,

Firstly, we’d like to thank everyone who has reported serious bugs, dangerous dupes and any exploits that still existed in our game, until this current patch!
Now, we are happy to say that they are all fixed (at least, we hope so!). Thank you for your patience and attention to detail!

Patch notes (ver. 1.1.2.7):

Bug fixes:
  • Fixed terraforming related tunneling dupe
  • Fixed substance dupe when using fertilizer
  • Fixed rendering of particles when the particles’ source is moving
  • Fixed some objects that were impossible to place/drop if they were damaged
  • Server should no longer crash when trying to destroy your own building on your guild’s claim
  • You can rotate the trebuchet properly now
  • Fixed damaged sapper charge to now blow up with enormous power
  • You can upgrade all guild monuments properly now

We got some problems after this patch. Some people saying they can't build carpentry products (chairs, chests, etc). Then pressing "Build" button, system refuses process, and say to remove people and animals from building site. Even GM's can't build. But some people can.
Can someone confirm this issue to be related to this patch?

UPD: I can't exactly finish building, but I can make partial build (when not all resources needed are in site).

UPD: investigation shows this problem is a combination of last patch and Basil mod "Safe zone". Mod author alarmed.

Ok Ive gone through the entire carpentry list. While in gm mode I cannot place the signs on the following:
Alchemy Table
Armor Stand
Bottle Rack
Cart and Traders Cart
Chest
Crate
Decorated benches table chair or bed
Simple Bed
Spinning wheel
Throne
either wall shelf
Wardrobe
Weapons Rack
Wheelbarrow
Work Bench

I have flown under the ground to see if the signs are below the terrain and they are not there either.

On the furniture I can build I can both gm buil them and add mats and hammer them in .
I will check construction and other forms of building next and post back. and Yes Saxxon I will also create a report....

What type of server do you have rented? your own box? Have you tried running a repair? or restoring your world from backup?

We have our own dedicated box, we've tried to restore a backup from last night with the new patch, no luck.

Ok so I have logged into another character and on this one in gm mode I can build all the above as well as out of gm mode. It does seem this issue is intermittent for characters or secondary characters.

I shut down my game and steam and rebooted steam to verify the integrity of the files so far it has fixed my not being able to build issue on my secondary character.

After I reached 60 masonry and activated the building repair skill, I tried to make a small repair kit. Clicked on the knife and selected building repair and then selected small repair kit. It opened the window but the window is blank. You cant select anything. (see attached) Is this a new bug or just something on my side?

Sonja, please verify the game cache in order to fix any possible corrupted files that may have caused this problem for you. If after this procedure this problem will continue to persist, please submit a report via tech support email (helpme@lifeisfeudal.com).
