OK, this didnt help me at all. Looking towards the mountain results in around 35fps on 720p and 15fps on 1080p - thats on 80ms dedicated server. Looking any other direction is twice that fps (When i created local had no problems reaching 80fps in the same situation on 720p.)

At same time a friend with similar system to mine plays just fine on 1080p with default settings.

As for ppl having problems with trees going poof as the get close, well, the minimal value of $pref::TS::detailAdjustForest is 0.1. Setting it to flat 0 (anything lower than 0.1 will set the value to 0) results in dissapearing trees.

PS. and so that we are clear, im running i5 4670k@4.4ghz with gtx660 and 16gb of fast RAM.

now i have the right file the exe file was the downloader from the website xD

I think we just need a little more optimization from the devs and it'll run pretty well. My 770 lags at times also at 1080 (and also gets a little hot).

Turning off Shadows in this made a huge boost to my FPS. Good find!

Nothing helped. Maked it worse.

And if you have serious problems with performance, set Auto adjust quality. It will change quality automaticly into game when you playing.
Also can help this command in cosole $pref::Shadows::disable = true

Ok, so please if someone could respond ASAP there is like 6 download buttons and I'm not exactly sure why is it an .exe file and when I run it an Installation happens?

Tried to download this file. Unfortuently it downloaded one called prefs.cs_downloader.exe instead.
Avg caught it when it finished downloading.
You might want to check your link and make sure someone did not hijack it.
