(actually, sometimes it does, sometime doesn't)
design suggestion, ...the + - search, location TP and monument icons should be on the map as it was before. The extra strap on the side is just a waste of screen view. Especially when the map is minimized and the extra scroll bar comes in.
Better yet, the icons could be placed in the title bar next to date.

ps. Map search is a good feature however steers mix feelings. Kind of kills the explorer spirit. I would suggest a poll on it to see how other players feel about it.
Or maybe only physically visited (enter territory) guilds would be visible (if that's possible from technical point of view; kind of fog of war). Just an idea.
