I bought the Zealous Supporter pack as I only noticed yesterday the MMO has actually become an actual thing.

I wanted it originally but bought YO to check it out. Having played tons of Survival Games at the time I wasnt overly interested in more, I wanted the MMO.

Have verified ownership of YO and purchased Zealous Supporter how long does it usually take to get access to the Beta?

I have a really bad itch now and boy does it need scratched.

So, it appears players can patch now (at least I was able to perform a new install), but being able to login using Google doesn't seem to work.

UPDATED - I stand corrected. All but the last 3mg. Still, players can download the rest of the game.

As of right now, we're in Wave 1 still. There is only three waves of tests in the MMO. Wave 0, Wave 1 and Wave 2. We're heading into the last(as of now) planned Closed Beta Test for Wave 1. People who own the Your Own version will be able to try out the MMO with the rest of us once Wave 2 starts. Again, the plan that has been set by the Dev Team is that within the next 2 months Wave 2 will start.

We are in between the test runs. Currently preparing for short Instanced Battles session. CBT5 is scheduled to start within a month after it's over

I assume you're thinking about the stage where there will be no wipes, yes? That will be Wave#2 aka OBT. If that's the case, we have slipped a bit and everything is a bit delayed so I can't give you a precise date. But we're hoping to get there in about couple months. We still have Instanced Battles session ahead and CBT5 after that.

I'm visiting the forum every few months to check on progress. It's definitely there, but not how everyone expected. To be fair, I expected to get access by end of August or beginning of September. But the way it's still uncertain how many more months to add to the queue isn't helping.

Wouldn't it make sense to give the old owners and supporters of LiF:YO their access now? I imagine the population in server tests is pretty low by now, so some additional players might even help. Plus late summer/fall 2017 was supposed to be our entry date, if I'm not mistaken.

Most of all, I don't see the reason, why to keep us out of the game at this late point anyway. Is it the organisational effort? If the MMO is working good enough we might as well play it and add to the experience. And then restart together after the beta-wipe. It would be much nicer for everyone than just waiting all this time

Servers are not ready for such influx of players yet.

it's very complicated this delay, I love this game, I have 6000 hours in the game, but arrived at a stage that seems to joke the time it takes to finish, they are implementing new things ( is great), but they do not finish the game, more 90% of the people I know have stopped because of the delay and the lack of completion dates.

I understand the need for testing, testing, testing. And I already calculate always twice the amount of time, but it's still taking longer than I anticipated. I'm really looking forward to the game, and the main reason I stopped playing :YO was that I thought the MMO wouldn't be far away and be a better experience.

I've been waiting for a year now and in that time got so many people interested in the MMO that we can't wait to try it out together. But you know how it is with gamers - the interest is fading. It would be helpful to know at this time if we are looking at a few days or weeks until first release or if it is still months away from now.

I honestly can't wait for the game. I'm more interested in trading than fighting. Building is always the most fun for me. I can't wait what the game looks like after hundreds of players shaped it into a new world together! It's worth waiting for, but seriously: can we haz release soon?

We'll do our best to deliver OBT as soon as possible That is of course once we make most important game features work as intended (I mainly mean Instanced Battles here).

I understand you can not give us now the D day of the OBT but could you tell us how long in advance you will announce this date?

Will you make some advertising about this OBT before it starts in order to attract newcomers, fresh blood?

Good to know it's only the instanced battles that take some more polish! It seems a bit odd that with only that one blocker the devs are unwilling to make a prediction on the release. On the other hand I hate empty announcements (like: "End of october we'll announce an announcement for release." )

I do wonder if we're just gonna get the date on short notice, or if there'll be some weeks ahead notice. I'd prefer the weeks ahead, but it seems testing will go on to the last minute and so will the announcements. Still hoping for a unique game. I'd like to say: take your time, but at this point I'd rather say: hurry up!
