Well considering the beta is meant to test bugs, maybe they want somebody more inclined to do so instead of making YouTube videos.

Not to mention, you only have 500subs and haven't even made a video in 6 months, for all they know you stopped making videos.

If having YouTube subs was all it req to get into the beta, people could easily pay bot services to make a fake YouTube with a couple hundred subs

Not to be rude or anything, but there was quite a limited number of people for wave 0 and those were trusted "testers" not youtubers I take it personaly when people feel privileged for things they would do anyway, some of us worked our ass off with the devs past 2 years with no gratitude nor any compensation except access to a wave that was alot more work then fun, actualy there was no fun whats so ever only bug reporting for 2 weeks or so.

Whoa this is exciting to hear! Someone asked me if I ever heard of LiF tonight so I decided to come check the forums and see what progress has been made on the MMO version to see this!

maybe, but your yellow nick gives you access to the private alpha/beta tester forum... maybe you'll find everything you need there (you can download the CBT if you want)

In wave # 1 should be a set of features that are not in the wave #0. We are working on them as a team and try to speed up the process...

Damn, I thought I was gonna get to play soon, but apparently I'll be wave 2. I kinda hope wave 1 will go past faster than the first wave and we'll get to play this fall. (all of us). Could we maybe get an estimate about how long it will be until we can all play the MMO? I was sorta hoping to play since September and the info given by the devs wasn't wrong. It's just a different group of people that get to test early. I'm just somewhat disappointed these tests take so long, but I guess with an MMO running for years on the same servers you want to be thorough and get as much as possible right.

Anyway. Are there estimates about when wave 2 will start? I think 95% of the players or more are going to fall into that wave, so it would be most interesting to find out if it will be this or next year. I think this much could be related to us, at least.

There are 5 of us that are waiting to play together on the MMO. We did have a goodtime with YO. We are ready for the MMO though. I think it will be great to get us all on there together.

An earlier post said the next wave may be starting by the end of October. Hopefully there will be an update something in today's announcement. A lot of the details about the next wave will be set by the publisher (if I remember correctly).

Would be nice to hear some details around the changes to the guild permissions. You would think that after a few months of work there would be some info on the mechanics that can be shared.

Also - even though the server clusters show as being up, I cannot get in. So, another reason why no one is testing the MMO.

That said, it might be wise to have the wave #0 folks login and test some of these patches before wave #1 starts.

I keep getting a CR_MAINTENENCE error, even after repairing the install. Server status says up, closed as well.

Also getting into the MMO shouldn't be just about getting into it(as it will just be like YO instead on bigger map and more than 64 people). It should be about helping out the developers too, I only got 400 hours into the YO and was able to help in that time by submitting bugs with screen shots and explanation to help the developers along. I would hope that everyone that gets in does the same but lots of times people just want to get early access and play some.
