I know that the siege mechanics are not made yet (siege after wining a lot of instanced battles etc etc).

But just in case,, you should remove the option from guild leaders/officers to destroy their guild monument when they are at war. Since if they destroy it and have an friend/alt guild place a new one on the same spot they will be able to protect their buildings from siege . You can give them an option to surrender that will make their land lootable to the attacker but will protect them from being killed without penalty and will decay their monument in a couple of hours.

Also when a monument/guild is destroyed they should get a few hours penalty to building a new monument just to prevent them from just sneaking in and reclaiming their land instantly .
The same should apply for the attacker they should not be able to claim the area they just conquered instantly preventing any counter attacks from delayed reinforcements to the defender (maybe add a few hours of this piece of land is contested and free for plunder)

Maybe add a few hours penalty to characters after they quit a guild to join or form a new one.
