Yes, you can join immediately. There will be only wipe before OBT (Wave #2). But there will be probably at least one more CBT test run after the current one so you will have some time to check out the game before OBT.

1/ how long does a wave usually lasts
2/ wipe= lose all progress, buildings whatever i've done since then and start from beginning again?

Each CBT test run lasts about 2 weeks. The current one started at July 6th so there's about one and a half week until it's over. And yeah, wipe is complete, everything is reset. It needs to be done since OBT is basically a soft release.

In our current situation, we are aiming to start OBT in less than two months from now. But we don't want to make any promises since this usually doesn't work out when it comes to setting deadlines, and that's because of all the nasty surprises that we face basically each CBT run.
