The swing arrows that populate on your screen seem to cause issues with swing direction when using alternative hit direction input devices. I have been unable to reproduce it clearly for a bug report, but players that pvp often are well aware of it. Players use alternative hit direction and input devices, because the vanilla method of controlling your attacks is.. well.. frankly, it's really bad.

If there was a setting in the controls that would allow us to turn the vanilla hit direction arrows "off", I believe it would drastically improve player control during pvp, while still allowing a baseline for players not really interested in pvping optimally.
