Terrible judgement hour performance (again)

Post by Blackberrygoo » 17 Dec 2017, 03:24

Judgement hour is unplayable with lag and ping ... US server 38 . A huge battle is happening and no one can defend or attack for that matter ... it’s legit a slide show when 15 or more people fight each other . Please fix !

If anything they are at least getting feedback and data analysis for what can be expected so they can adjust accordingly. 38 is an indicator of what the future can hold. While it is the largest war in the world at the moment, it is far from the largest that will ever be seen.

While I long for a proper assault, I can tolerate the current issues if it means the developers are able to take the data and make changes. So long as those changes actually occur, then it was worth it. So far it appears they are taking steps to correct things. We just need to tough it out and remember Rome wasn't built in a day.

Yep... I was on that server, too. I was just trying to gather some stuff and head out to go fishing. I ended up quitting after warping back to the same spot 5 times. The gods did not want me going to that fishing hole.

The group being attacked wouldn't of been able to defend anyways, they got their shit kicked in :) RIP ATS.

Well, it is testing, so... hopefully, they got good data from it.

Yeh we had the same in EU server 14 last night. Complete and utter lagfest with everybody rubberbanding around. If i had to make a guess there were about 70~ people on our claim at that moment, cant say what was happening on the rest of the server. I am not really upset about it cause its what a Open Beta is for just hope its something they can fix in the future and the devs already have plans a and fixes figured out that just havent been implemented yet.

I do wonder if the devs have a back up plan to restructure how JH and large battles work if they find themselves unable to find a proper solution to fixing this issue especially as battle will only grow larger and larger.

I don't really see any reason for JH, why not flesh out Wardecs and make that the main feature for PvP?

Primary reasons are to involve all players in pvp, and also so that guilds (and solo players too, to a degree) cannot make unraidable vaults using personal claims and unguilded alts. War cannot, and should not, be declared on individuals. It must be declared upon a guild. Otherwise unguided players would have an all impossible time, as opposed to the mostly impossible time they currently have. There's a big difference between mostly impossible and all impossible :)

JH helps strike fear into solo players and encourages them to align themselves with guilds, nations, and kingdoms.

How can we know when JH is coming?

JH is every Saturday at 10pm est on the us server. And JH only really exists between groups at war, if your solo or not at war you still don't really have to worry about JH.

And, there are countdown announcements in-game in the system tab when it gets close.
