Question:

most important (for me  ) Will it work on mac or linux? maybe later the first realese?
what type of requirements will the game need to work properly?
how much ram? like 2gb (is there a game that ask just this? lol) 4gb or more?

CPU: ?
RAM: ?
VGA: ?
DX: ?
OS: ?

Hello. There is no full OpenGL support yet, so no Linux or Mac, sorry. But we plan to have it sometime later during later stages of development.
As about other specs - we had no real tests so far, but we're making it possible, that our game with ugly graphics settings could run on the modest PCs. Something like DualCore CPU, 2-4 Gb RAM, relatively old Video card on DirectX 9 on Windows Vista/7.

It also says "Pay Type:Subscription".
Info on that page seems to be outdated.

yeah pretty outdated :D
But no problem for mac users we can use bootcamp or similar programm to install windows on a partition, that IMO is better than a virtual machine

@Bobik: I like to donate a new round of several hundred Euros if it helps to get started on the Linux port.

I only use Linux. ;)

A Linux port = many new fans + support for SteamOS.

That is actually quite massive task to implement full OpenGL support, then debug it thoroughly and then debug OS specific bugs of that OpenGL implementation. That is definitely not a few hundred euros task. Once we will get on our feet - we will do that, but so far we simply have no spare hands for that task and few euros will not help that.

But feel free to donate for the game itself ;) :)

Nice! I will donate more cash to the development of LiF. ;)

I hope you will allow playing Life is Feudal with Wine on Linux until the Linux Client is released? :)

I will not give up until it works. ;)

I just need some time in-game to get it to work. :)

I will do that :)

@Bobik: Are there some Windows "stuff" that are required for the launcher/game to run?

The launcher works, the Alpha is downloaded and updated. Let's hope the Alpha starts :) - I need a server to connect!

Launcher is created with a Qt crossplatform framework and supposed to be crossplatform from the start. Maybe we just compile a more *nix friendly version of launcher later, when we gonna have a OpenGL version of a client.

And well, client itself does not require anything serious from Windows... only DirectX :D :D :D
