I'm still on Newbie Island...skill cap there is 200 each in crafting/combat...and I read on the wiki that when I move to the Mainland it will increase to 400 each:

Is that still accurate (someone told me they thought it had been raised to 600 each not long ago)?

Yep. Skill cap will remain at 400.
