“Here ye, here ye, It is with great excitement and trepidation that Lord Duter announces that his own Fiefdom of Calditch has opened its gates to new citizens. There are several thrilling opportunities available for those brave of heart. The township of Calditch offers safety, a warm friendly community and a burgeoning economy for any looking to settle within its walls. Prospective citizens should meet with Lord Duter as soon as they are able in order to not miss out on the highly sought Calditch citizenship.”

The Fiefdom of Calditch is a small English speaking, RP community, based on the Life is Feudal MMO Skjultland server. Due to our size we do not currently have a ranking system and simply play as a kindly Lord with his subjects carving out their lives in a medieval world. We do, however, have a thriving internal economy in which we sell the products of our chosen trade to one another in order to buy the tools and equipment that we need. As we are few in number everyone is part of the militia and would be called to defend the town if necessary, again the combat lines are chosen by the player.

Currently we’re seeking some like-minded individuals to join us and help our town grow. We are situated within a healthy forested area, in a relatively safe position and are allied with the neighbouring communities. We have a Discord channel for general chat and try to keep in-game chat for RP purposes. And we’re currently organising some fun RP events in the near future (our tournament grounds are well under way and we have created the game of ‘Blychau Crad’ or ‘Crate Bludgeon’ which we look forward to playing on a regular basis. New ideas for events & games are always welcome!

Our rules are simple:
-Respect other players; do not get angry & use raised voices or hurtful language. If you have complaints either speak to the player involved or with the liege Lord.

-Keep ingame chat to rp (unless it’s something important) and do not distract, interupt or otherwise disrupt rp with everyday chatter.

-The economy is there for immersion purposes as well as practical ones (keeping the monument fed), please be sensible when trading/ bartering (no outlandish prices unless there is an rp event).

-You must be able to speak English at a reasonable level (as we all need to be able to communicate amongst ourselves).

-You must join our Discord channel (the software is free & signup only takes a few minutes).

-Keep the laws laid down by your Lord or you may pay the price for your insubordination.

-If you are caught cheating in a gambling game or at an ingame event, that is fine but please rp it out & be willing to admit to it OOC
it can lead both to great RP but also bad feelings between players.

-If you decide to switch town or stop playing, we ask that you do so in an RP manner. Don’t just up & leave unless you are fleeing persecution or real life events prevent it.
