We are one of the oldest (est. 2015) and thus stabile guilds: you can always take a break from the game, log in again in few months and still see your village around instead of wasteland.

Image
We are a Lawful Good group: strictly following our laws, we confront aggressive savages and robbers. We stay away from large alliances and don't participate in wars just for the sake of wars, but enjoy small scale PvP!

ImageImage
We consist of a mature and experienced international community which will always help you to understand game mechanics while making you feel at home.

We offer a wide choice of settlements according to gameplay you prefer, both in green (PvE) and red (PvP) zones.

We have the following requirements:

You should be able to clearly distinguish between the game world and reality; should an issue arise, we simply ask that you try and find a solution that is fair instead of creating drama in a situation.
We don't require constant attendance or talking in Discord, but we expect enough activity from you to show that you want to become/be part of our community.

Oak Chronicles: The Great Exodus

In 1036, some kind of cataclysm did what The Black Death could not and killed mosty everyone by destroying the very fabric of the world. For some mystic reason Lord Commander Duckhelm came round just before it happened and ordered to evacuate the city - set sail from Oakenhold. This order was quite insane, but no one dared question it.

It was a long sea voyage to an unknown destination, food reserves ran dry quick and some people didn't make it. When hope deserted them and they were getting ready to do they finally saw some unknown land. Thus ended story of Order adventures on Epleland, but another story started - Godenland story.

Oak Chronicles: The Schism

Whispers arose of Lord Barton's surviving bastard son and his mysterious monastery where people worship a Rose and have orgies, not so far from the Holy Oak camp. Few Senior Knights went to investigate these rumors, but they never came back: turned out they broke their vows and joined this cult themselves.

From then on the noble organisation of Holy Oak was divided into two sides: Oak side, which remain loyal to Lord Commander Greenfire and the Holy Oak, and Rose side, which pledged to Barton the Bastard and was forced to leave the North. They went to the distant western island and continued their dark rituals.

A long time ago, in distant lands of Kortalia there was a large battle and rivers of blood. One surviving knight, heavily wounded, had to crawl to an oak tree near a lake, and suddenly he heard a voice. A Lady appeared from the oak tree by the lake and told him about the strife between Order and Chaos in the world, events of the past and the future, and his purpose. His wounds were magically healed and he gained supernatural strength. In years to come, that knight did many heroic deeds and became known as King Barton I, Great Uniter of lands and the founder of our brotherhood, the Knight Order of the Holy Oak.

Since then our mission has been to protect the World Tree, because as long as it stands, there is no true death: after destruction of bodies sparks of mortals (souls) simply circulate between worlds. However, if the Sleeper awakes and cuts the World Tree down, the entire world will tumble into darkness. That is why we fight the Sleeper’s adepts, Chaos worshippers, and always support the Order: large and well organized powers that abide to the laws of the land; however, we will never support tyrants.

The Lady of the Lake taught young Sir Barton four Commandments to live by, and these teachings lived through generations in the Barton family while they lead the Knights of the Holy Oak. After Lord Barton III’s spark passed on to another world from Abella, Lord Greenfire recorded the words into this Book to preserve the moral legacy to generations to come.

The Holy Tales Vol.1
Holy Oak Knight

Till Morrow when the sweat covers thy boddie,
Until when fright takes cloak within your chambers,
That shed of yours, made of materials, shoddy.
We remember carefully whom are our neigbours.

For ours is a Kingdom most bright,
Where through and within comes the strongest light,
Care not for thy safety,
Humble, honorable knight.

In battle we prove our valor,
Thy wepon which does't touch our armor,
So foolishly forged using feeble iron,
There is no place for you inside our zion.

Your nobilytee are sugary princes,
For their grip are as durable as rice,
Your kingdom be filled with filthy mice.

Our brothers and sisters hold their titles proud,
For we are protected by a blessed shroud,
Our warcry be strong and loud,
And our enemies be looked down upon,
From that rainy stormy cloud.

But even in times of darkness,
When our enemies attack in plain sight,
Remember dear brothers and sisters;
We are a Holy Oak Knight!

Year of the Tree 1036, 25th Solar rotation of the Early Winter (2nd of November). We've been thru big fights with wildlings and wild animals but at the end we got control over the Tettennacht (Native name, as it's called by the homelander) province. We will start slowly to turn the province into a Holy Land for the will of the Tree.

November, year of the Tree 1036 - a lot of refugees from United Kingdom of Wessex and Mercia arrived to lands of the Holy Oak, fleeing brutal nomad attacks on the South. They were warmly received by oaklanders and were given a fief to establish a vassal village by the will of Lord Commander Duckhelm Greenfire. Unfortunately, their journey was long and the northern climate is harsh, so most of them fell gravely ill. The situation was further complicated by wrong treatment by a mad druid - when the word got out about his inhuman experiments it was too late and most of the southerners were dead or standing on the edge of sanity.

What was left of those refugees divided into two groups: some of them became New Oaksprout villagers, while others stole all belongings of the first group and moved to the border of the realm, where they tried to establish a village again. Still being vassalized, they acted secretive and sneaky, until Lord Commander himself found their village abandoned with gates wide open. The Order launched a rescue operation, but the only living soul they found was a dirty peasant crawling out of manure, drunk as a skunk, who then began to accuse them of stealing! During investigation it turned out he was a husband of the village headwoman who had gone off into the woods with a druid and other villagers to <illegible>.

As soon as Knights were confident of areas security again, they gave all confiscated loot back to the villagers and booted the lunatics to another suzerain.

Oaken pilgrims are building once more - Acorn Village to the east is taking shape and welcomes refugees to join the Holy Oak Society.

From the very arrival to Godenland, there was mostly time to fight, but during February 1038, there has come time to celebrate: Holy Oak folk visited the first tournament in southern lands far away, where they kept the drinks flowing all the week.

During the summer of 1038, as massive Knool numbers invaded Abella, Knights of the Holy Oak invaded Knool lands - first of all, mysterious island on the very East, where they established outpost...

Another Tournament took place during summer of 1038, this time mostly organized by Holy Oak Society itself and run by Berthok Haldoran.

In the end of 1038, some blood was shed on the South during the conflict between Oak Grove and Roysbad aborigines who call themselves "Framed in Blood"; reinforcement arrived from the Order helped Grove to earn some respect - enemies became partners soon.

Oak Chronicles: Jagged Alliance

As time passed, it became clear to our Knights that the Fearless Family was corrupted by the pretender "Kingdom of Longfellows". A bunch of bloodthirsty, insane and incestuous degenerates addicted to disgusting potion they called "soy-lent". The Alliance leaders, blinded by past glory, were convinced that they were using these creatures against their enemies, while in fact, Longfellows were using them. Plundering one village after another, the Longfellows were dragging the Alliance name through the mud and into hundreds of wars against the whole realm. The time had come to defend our borders, and the Longfellows showed how terrible their discipline was when they had to fight soldiers instead of peasants. The Longfellows yielded the bordering outpost of Limes far too easily and cowardly allowed our enemies to invade the eastern region of TFA lands. From this strong point, TFA took several castles including the Castle of Bree, controlled by The Knight Order.

Although the Knights fought bravely to the very end. The final bell rang when the Mighty, Sons of Odin leader, who kept this madness somewhat at bay, disappeared. In the middle of the Northern War, the treacherous rats backed an immoral attack on Godenland Tournament in the far south, and the Holy Oak protest was ignored by craven leaders of "The Fearless" army. Both Knights and noble Barbarians clan stopped their support of TFA and went their separate ways - while the Barbarians kept red colours and focused on the West, Knights of the Holy Oak reformed into Kingdom, brought back their traditional green coat of arms and started their colonization of the East. The Kingdom didn't switch side but became neutral.

A valuable lesson was learned by all, to never underestimate the predictability of stupidity: soon the degenerates declared war to former allies and the drums of war thunder once again. In the Spring of 1039, army of the Holy Oak supported the honourable Alliance of Valhalla in purging the impure and broken Knights of Fayd, KoLF's puppets. The morally defeated enemy conceded their claim without protest. After a long winter season of siege, the weak Knights of Fayd fell without note.
