I'm sorry I'm a technical noob... correct me, please: if I wish to run this EPIC mod on my own dedicated rented server, do I just copy/overwrite the downloadable files from this post to the server directories just as I replace them in my client side directories to make my server use this mod, or...? 'Course I couldn't find a serverside installation download... :-)

This would not work, the modded server files are different from the client side mod, because there are much more changes, not only in the database but also in the compiled core files. But the author of the mod announced, he will release the server files in the future to the public.

Johny Blade has been banned for exploiting floating logs and stealing from a base.

Yes, I can actually look back to see who did it, despite none being around. ;)

First off: WOW!

Second: I love how you have taken control and would like to aid you in any way possible, to help this development proceed.

As many of us, I have also waited ten years for a game like this to come alive, I just never had the courage to begin a game development myself. I have made a role playing game book, based on my idea which is very much like Life Is Feudal.

I have a vast amount of balanced ideas which we could implement in the game, or at least altered in some way.

I am not a very good programmer, but if you can give me some guidlines (what type of language is required for example), I might be able to find like minded programmers, who could help (I have a lot of friends in the field). I could say the same for 3D designers, there are a few I know too who would love to help make more objects for the game (some even play the game).

I wanted to contact the developers too, but I was unable to locate some kind of contact details for them personally. There are also sooo many great ideas already in the game, just need the legwork to be done for it! I hope I will be useful and able to help you! :)

Thanks for your reply! :)

Assembly? Why not BrainFuck then? Sweet Jezus :Search:

I mean it is fair enough, but it could have been something more software oriented (like C++, C# or even JAVA (don't kill me)).

Anyhow thank you for the answer, I will try to contact Bobik :)

The joke is that most fun modding, other than the low hanging SQL/XML fruit we've been doing so far, would require reverse engineering.

I want to thank you for this mod, I tested it once and I liked it!
I don't play with it right now, since it would stop me to play on different server and in case of changing the server, I would be stuck on copy/pasting stuff.

The question might come a bit wrong, but can you maybe get a installer/downloader for this? I believe a lot more server and people would use this when it would be easier to install it.
Some fail to find their steam folder

Thanks, It's working now.

Could I ask when will be the day cycle restored?

Also the intellect is so useless, 800 skill cap or 850 with 60 intellect does not matter so mutch. It's possible to make a muptiplier one intellect point give 2 or 3 skill cap increasement?

Maybe you will to place the chest in a house which is claimed by someone else, or just you. Try unclaim the house, then put down the chest, then claim again the house.

You have to own the chest. If someone lifts the chest, it will be his own for 24 hours, during that, no one else can do anything with it.

Also, if someone else builds you the chest, it will be his for 24 hours.

Also, there was an update, and says "Invalid version" when I try to connect. So it seems the server is not updated yet.

Hey there, I'd like some help with this mod as I'm struggling to get it working correctly. I followed the part 1 guide of yours and have added the chest so it can be claimed, but when I try to set the claim on the specific chest file it doesn't let me. It doesn't matter what I click on in the world, I can't claim anything. This throws the text description "you can't do anything with that" even when I check the ground. Do you happen to know why this is, and if so do you have a fix?

ZombiEMA wrote:Are u able to mod so that multiple peoples can claim a house?

And how you decide who can claim a house, door, gate, chest?
This is requires some rights has to be set up, like a guild, or kingdom. Or anyone will claim for get access.
Anyway I am happy with this decay system in made, but the storage capacity balancement is very bad. :/ I can lift 440 stones, and a crate only can keep 400 stones, a barel 750, and the big 4 wheeled crat only 400??? So I have produced around 60 barrel for keep our stuffs. This is for 4 bag. Which requires more resource 4 bag or 60 barel?

I hope the things will be fix soon or later, the problem is the high amount of request and slow solving process with a lot of bad news like, we have 25% chance to get this game to be complete.

Yes, I cannot see it either; however, there is a LiB test server, so I think it is being worked on.

Could be the old base of my group, it's rather big and straight North of the mountain. Try playing with your render sliders and see if you can resolve the lag.
