Hey everyone.

I'm a roleplayer looking for the local community. As of yet, noone has replied to my introduction post, which contains further details.

Nutshell, I tend to become extremely dedicated (compliment of being asperger), being online unless I sleep. I love complex and immersive games and roleplaying enviroments. As stated in my introduction post, I haven't found a game/community yet where my focus did not eventually shift from social interaction to ecconomic fanaticism. Good company and conversation (especially ooc) is important to me, because it helps me grow and improve.

I don't own the game yet, but I might oblige if I find myself feeling welcome and become convinced that the game lives up to it's reputation.

How lovely to get responses on these fora.

I've been sniffing both Duchy of Wessex and Game of Houses.

I've been trying to get the attention of Azzerhoden for a few hours now with no luck. I do like their full-fledged concept, but it doesn't appear to have much activity at all (can't tell game-wise, since I don't have the game yet). I do hate waiting, but it is a curse that follows indie games.

Game of Houses also sounds like a promising concept. By the look of it, however, it sounds very new. From past experiences, I know that the more freedom I have to roam (the less defined my environment is), the quicker I ruin my game experience by eventually going ooc and grind all I can to 100 before I feel I can start playing the game "for real". That, and I might end up getting myself into RP positions of power that I lack real experience to handle, ending up feeling like an idiot for it (also a compliment of being asperger).

So in a sense, I need restraint to enjoy myself - the more the better. I'm curious what people think about this.

Sorry for the late response, Prayr, and thank you for posting.

Currently I'm still trying to get into contact with people from the Duchy of Wessex just to hear more (like their number/hours of active players, being mostly europeans like myself, hopefully). I like their complete-to-boot authentic feudal RP theme, so it's hard for me to take my eyes off them just yet. Their teamspeak is very inactive, but I've been able to greet a few and gotten the attention of someone who would talk with me today.

In any event, I will need to figure out how to thrive with any given activity level. I tend to hyperproduce resources at my level of activeness, which I want to avoid in a way that I would enjoy.

Very understandable. Their model is very interesting indeed. If you decide to play around in a server or two whilst you wait, you are more than welcome to come have a look at Three Kingdoms and play in any style you like. After all, someone that lives out in the wilds, visits town every seldom now and then is actually a RP play style in itself.
