Every thing I do, everything I harvest, everything I mine, everything I craft... disappears.
This just isn't worth the time and effort.
I'm mining and harvesting just to throw things away. It's a waste of resources, a waste of time.
What am I doing wrong?

how do you store them ? you cannot store item on the floor, in the bags that appears, it's destined to disappear a few hours after... you have to build chest, barrel etc...
do you run your own server ?
your crops, are your settings the lowest, with lowest herb distance ?
corps have 24hrs growing time, and 8hrs to harvest it before it disappear...

I can't build any storage yet. I'm trying to get to that point. I'm throwing resources away just to raise my skills.

The crop thing will be an issue too. 24/8. Is that real time or game time? If I don't play today I'll lose all my crops from yesterday?

Yes, I'm playing my own server. When I play on other people's server my stuff was always being stolen.

real time for crops... nobody should play farmer if they cannot recolt their crops...

it's normal if you put item in bags, when you disconnect or quit your server, all the bags disappear, it's the normal effect.. it's pretty easy to build at least barrels... you'll have to build some and your stuff won't disappear

Yeah I'm getting there.
At least I seem to be able to pile up stones and ore. They don't seem to be disappearing.

yep, everything that won't be stocked in a bag won't disappear (at least there's decay on your server, and if it's not in a claim area, it will decay, then chests, houses etc, will disappear, but if you play alone, i guess you didn't put decay rate )
