Private claims and fixes (0.7.6.0 (MMO))

Post by Arrakis » 07 Mar 2017, 21:57

Life is Feudal: MMO

Hey everyone,

In this patch we’re presenting you with an almost fully working private claim functionality. Please, spend the couple of days that are left in the current closed beta to test this mechanic thoroughly.

About the beta test run duration itself, we plan to end it this week after few days of private claim tests. We will make an announcement 1 day before we will shutdown the servers.

Patch notes (ver. 0.7.6.0 (MMO)):

New features and tweaks:
  • Implemented personal claim functionality. These claims can be established both inside and outside of guild claims and should be able to protect your property from any damage in a similar manner as guilds claims do.
  • Implemented a new object selection algorithm, that should increase your game performance slightly, especially in an area with a lot of objects and trees
Bug fixes:
  • Fixed a server crash with the barter window
  • Fixed a deadlock that happened on some clients while connecting the server
  • Some other minor crash fixes and optimizations
- The Team

I got my private claim up and running, but a 3x3 square is nothing more than a few bark boxes. I left it with a bunch of points to grow while i worked 12 hrs, and it i think hit 4x4, which still didn't cover my now "on fire" wood shack. I find it interesting how only a few days everything starts spontaneously combusting. And this world has no magic they say >.> .

EDIT: I was wrong, it is still 3x3 claim after more than a RL day. Still bugged? Kinda useless... About to lose everything I've worked for due to magical fire.

Found this hilarious because while exploring server 18 and 19 i found burning monuments and shacks. Perhaps yours?

Some guilds are having their monuments on fire since december due to a known bug. This is not related to decay but if sharks are burning it is.

Thanks for your work. Can we expect an update for LIF:YO shortly after MMO testwave is over?

Up to 2 weeks since the MMO goes down. So slim chances for this Friday and most likely next Friday.

What are the developers working on? My GOD its been 3 days since the MMO server went down!

You know the whine is coming. Just wanted to get that in before anyone else. ;)

Seriously, I'm fine with whatever the schedule is.
