game was corrupted over night (3 times) this is my FOURTH time downloading the launcher and trying to reinstall under north america servers... what the hell is going on, all i can get when i try and download the game again is error connection refused bug.

Same thing. Played last night before the server went down for maintenance. Now I open the launcher and get "Connection Refused." When I launch the game, it gives me the "invalid version" error.

I'm now able to install the game again after uninstalling the launcher, then reinstalling the launcher. Game is re-downloading.

I'm having same error, It appears the the patcher is trying to patch for a split second then says connection refused, I'm guessing the patch server is going wacky or something.

ive already PMed arrakkis to no avail... we need to make more of a ruckus so the freaking devs realize something is wrong... devs wake up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'M IN! I uninstalled the game and the launcher. Than redownloaded and installed the game. I do think some one else did the same and it didn't work for them.

MIght have fixed the issue for myself.
(having a SSD makes it faster)

First off take the "Game" folder out of your LIF MMO. Place on desktop etc(18gb). Then do a Uninstall of the game.

Then Re-dl the launcher, place the "Game" folder back into the game location. Select game location in Launcher.

It is now patching 800 mb and no longer gave me the connection error.

No change. must have been a coincidence that it worked for you.

So did most of us that are having this issue initially install under the wrong region by chance? I did and I'm wondering if that is what causes the issue...reinstalling the launcher and game doesnt seem to work or fix though.

Lets see how godawfully long it takes for anyone of the devs to even realize that their freaking download servers arent working for more than 88% of the games pop trying to download right now... So freaking sad, probly the worst game launch everrrrr
