As the title!

I have used my ticket to leave newbie, says my character transferred successful, however!! When logging in to the main land the game won't load past "Patching World (0/9)" Stays like this until i close the game via the task manager, no other way to close it down.

Anyone else having this issue?

yeah I had that before the last wipe... I had to do a repair. seems to work now. Its a huge download, only do it if your sure.

Same Problem, can't Fix.

Was on a newbie server, grinding up skills for a couple of hours, Friends came on another server, I tried using the boat man to switch to their sever and now my Character is Stuck in this "Patching World (0/09" . Switching to another character and back didn't help. Doing console command on launch didn't help. Repair Launcher, didn't help? Now what ?

Doing the uninstall and re-download is faster if you have a good machine. Seems like the repair is uncompressed and the full install is compressed - but you lose your settings and what not.

Open the console right after you've hit play already in game. You can open console by clicking ctrl+~. Wait till the game is launched.
When stuck on "Initializing" open the console and enter the command connecttogameserver().

Previously been smooth running aside from a couple of repairs needing to be run. Just started to encounter this problem since this patch. Stuck on loading 5/9. Tried reinstall, repair and deleting LIF/MMO + Newbie island files as per devs suggestion to no luck. I need to harvest my wheat! ;D

(Not a moan just info for the devs, understand its OBT)

I don't know if that will help for someone... My LIF used 17.3 Gb space. That's not correct space (correct is 19 Gb + ). I asked friend to download his client (well, only game/eu). I have replaced everything and I got working game. I am sharing that downloaded client, maybe someone will get it working.

P.S. I splitted it to 6 parts (amazing, how WinRar did a good job by compressing 19 Gbs to 5Gbs+) so you could get files more easily. Sorry for low speed.

i just repaired the game from the launcher and it worked nicely, don't know if i have to do it everytime i log out and not gonna test it now as this is my first time getting into game)

after 14 hours of try with launcer , finally I logged in Na server , I went around with toon 5 min , so I tried to fix videocard setup and server kicked me out

Now 400mb download to rejoin.

I can start to drink wine now, and I sing some song .

Anyway i'm in , i'm in INNNNNNNNNNNN EEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYY I was in -.-°

After the latest patch I managed to connect to the server. I had to delete my old char and create a new one with different first name (using old name resulted in a same loading issue). I hope it helps.

i have same problem cept i made mine worse. don't do what i did! after all the repair and restart stuff that did not help i uninstalled and reinstalled. lost my character and the ticket to abella. so now im stuck on newbie land. please help

I can play on NA server... But on EU game does not work. Loading world 8/9

Complete reinstall, downloading everything from scratch should help.

and when I restart the launcher I get only that instal button!!

I have been having this problem all day (12/3) on the NA server. I have tried two different computers. I have tried repairing the program. On one computer, I uninstalled and reinstalled completely. Patch still stuck at 0/9. This is a serious dysfunction in game accessibility. I have purchased THREE zealot packs and am considering a refund demand supported by a litigation threat.

Although this instruction was not given to me, I followed it to see if it would resolve my problem. It didn't.

Additionally, I have now tested the log in from a different network and still have the same problem. I had been able to log in previously on both networks with both computers. I was able to log in as recently as the evening of 12/2 -- but suddenly was hanging up as described since the morning of 12/3.

Hi!

I had this issue all of yesterday. I was able to work around it by opening the console (CTRL ~) and then typing connecttogameserver when at the Patching World 0/9.

This resulted in my ability to connect to the game world, but then I would get kicked roughly five minutes later due to not having the right patch. I purposefully connected, got kicked, and then let it patch with that message still up and it did not kick me afterward. I believe this is an issue with the patching server not applying the patches correctly. It could also be the patching server timing out and not reestablishing the TCP connection but I'd need to do a packet capture to confirm that.
