[MMO] Ten-Ten-One (0.10.10.1)

Post by Arrakis » 28 Nov 2017, 18:24

Life is Feudal: MMO

In this patch, we’ve gathered all the fixes, tweaks and optimizations developed in the recent days and sleepless nights. Thank you for your trust in us and for all of your kind words and encouragement!

Patch notes (ver. 0.10.10.1):

New features and tweaks:
  • Fixed taming to raise skill even after failed attempts
  • Taming ability skill speed has been increased
  • Tweaked primitive fish cooking recipes to provide greater output
  • All combat skill progression is slightly faster now
  • Tweaked weather in the southern parts of the continent to have more rain and clouds in order to have a somewhat better chance of growing trees and crops until autumn/winter arrives
  • Removed a pitch dark period during one of the night cycles
  • Fixed some premium skins that were not rendering properly
  • Premium users now have 500 stones of trade post container in the Central City
Bug fixes and optimizations:
  • Fixed a dispatcher server code bug that could lead to many random inconsistent bugs
  • Fixed an issue that has caused some server nodes to lag insanely in certain circumstances
  • Optimized wild animal AI. That should boost server node performance by ~10%.
  • Fixed an exploit that allowed players to ride horses while carrying a movable object on your back (tree logs, carts, wardrobes, tables, you know… ;) )
  • /stuck command will now drop movables from your back, dismount you from horses and trading carts and bring you back to a peaceful stance
  • Fixed a bug where Trade Post would deduct maintenance fee multiple times per one in-game day
*Important note for EU players. You may notice that your inventory in the Trading Post is gone. There was an issue with the Trading Posts syncing correctly with the database. We still have data about all the items that were lost and most of those items should be returned to you automatically tomorrow. There will be some items with unique properties that won’t return automatically but will be later compensated by GMs. Sorry for the inconvenience!

P.S. We expect to fix serious bugs related to the server crossing issues later this week. Patching problems and rips in terrain in some settlements are also one of our priorities now.

— The team

Just a few other things I've noticed.

-You may be aware of the issue pertaining to randomly getting 4mill plus of your inventory full. Causing drowning in a lot of cases. I think this may be one of the server crossing issues you are speaking of but I do not know if it only occurs on server crossing.

-Sounds like the trade post not working, you are aware of. But since it is still broken I will list it here.

-I've noticed some people get newbies clothing while others do not. Is there some sort of clarification on this?

-Perhaps someone should look at using the ferryman to cross over to the mainland. Sounds like items arent suppose to go with you, including newbie clothes if you were lucky enough to get some when you traveled. This is all fine, but if you are going to transport a toon and take all their stuff when they move, can you are least reset their stats back to max. Not fun moving and being at being at low levels of hunger when you land.

You get the newbie clothing by being knocked out by agressive animals. That´s no joke.Just hit a boar once,go unconscious and stand up with a rack in your inventory.

Fish recipes seems to be same. But taming seems to be boosted. I got 0.4 xp from failed tame attempt.

Taming is fixed, but you'll need proper food for animals.

  • Mutton - peas and cabbage
  • Boar - wheat and edible taproot
  • Bull - mushroom, and potato
  • Horse - carrot and apple

Combat exp rates are fixed.

Changes for cooking recipes for some reason were not applied. Something went wrong during patching.

how can you say the combat exp rates are changed.

I get 0.003 combat exp per f swing on the dummy!!. and im lvl 37.81 in footman. Il need over 10000 swings to get to 60 because as you progress you get less and less exp. And this is the first class you unlock so the higher classes will be more of a pain to level.

Remember how we need a lot of stamina to do swings?
Remember how the weapons break fast(even wood weapons)
Remember how if we die we lose so much skill points?
This is just plain stupid get the rates up to like 0.035 and il play it otherwise il just quite the game

Yea combat is still gimped hard on dummies so if you dont have a friend blocking your attacks with many shields you are screwed!

I dont know what you are doing but I am getting 0.015 per swing on a dummy at level 45.

But I am using my food buff of 1.5 and a decent practice axe.

Tried combat today and it was not so bad with power hour and 1.7 food multi, I got from 30 Assaulter to 47 so pretty much within a week you can have maybe 70-80 in a weapon skill!

I'm puzzled over the low XP gains for shitty Tier 1 combat skills, leveling them up takes way too long. Please reconsider increasing the amount you gain for lower tiered skills, and then make it harder to level up higher tiered stuff (if needed).

Have someone make you higher quality weapons and ammo. It will help, and have higher quality food made.
