[WIP] The Clone Army

Testing new AI algorithms for animals and natives. Check it out. It's still work in progress, obviously! ;)

P.S.
NPCs are not confirmed.

Sweet - I can taste the genocide from many months of programming away (if ever.)

MMO testing seeming like it will be closer to the start or end of march?

If theirs gunna be NPCs then give us peasants and soldiers Mount and Blade style. And give them detailed characteristics like in Dwarf Fortress.

Looks promising but what do you mean not confirmed? You mean you may fail to bring it to a playable state?

NPCs were never promised in the first place. Only natives.

Hm ... no NPC´s but Natives. What the hell is the difference? 8-)

With a little luck, they become tameable.

Natives exist to provide a target for your weapons. Nothing else. Something a little more active then a training dummy. I don't want anything else.

Well, if Natives are controlled by a computer which I'm sure that they are then they are in fact NPCs

Yes, Natives could be considered NPCs, but not all NPCs could be considered Natives. By using the term NPCs it is implied that there will be computer controlled characters who perform various services in the game. Which there will not be.

Natives is a much more restricted term.

Well I would rather see about animal Ai , as of right now the reactions and ai of the animals is terribly broken or something .. This is how everyone hunts in life is feudal your own : get close to animal , throw stuff at it repeatedly and watch it stand there until It dies , and sometimes get it to run at you out of anger. Also taming an animal doesn't make much sense : throw a rock at an animal and have your friend bolt towards it and feed it apples , for some reason it doesn't mind the stranger dashing at it after a rock incident but it's scared of the person who threw the rock in the first place .. Ai needs reworking , it should be hard to get close to animals and for that crossbows and bows have to be reworked to be more powerful to wildlife , that way we can have more responsive ai . Hunting and wildlife in general is silly in this game .

And at above : NPCs definition is literally any non player controlled character , so by definition the natives are NPCS!
