yeah that's planned but only at the country and kingdom level. Bands and orders wont be able to engage in politics unless they build a monument and upgrade to a country.

that's why we need another standing for bands and orders. could possibly be tied to our personal claim. Eg player is part of a country or kingdom and has all those politics applied to him. also he has control of how his personal claim is tied to other personal claims or country/kingdom claims.

there was talk of how a personal claim will be "swallowed" by a country or kingdom claim and that the owner of the personal claim will have a choice of join that country or move their claim. so maybe there is already some planned politics for personal claims.

I understand but its bad for guilds
Everybody talking about trade here what about regional farming ??

youll notice that guild leader will be able to grant access to buildings to other >friendly countries and kingdoms. So they will be able to access their tradepost but bands and orders are excluded from this.

in regards to regional farming. Different areas will definitely begin with higher quality items. eg. trees/iron in the north, High soil quality in the middle, and gold/mulberry in the south. So definitely those areas will be the best for each of those goods INITIALLY. no talk of wether there will be any mechanics to lock those differences in place.

Sounds like good stuff. Should foster just the right amount of cooperation and competition given the other game dynamics :D
