Hey folks. The Highlands is a fresh, US-based PVP server seeking players to grow. Running off of a professional dedicated server.

We use a simple ruleset that is simple to follow, simple to enforce:

-Keep global chat civil.
-4-hour raid cooldown.
-Human/horse laddering over established walls is illegal.
-Stacking objects to get over established walls is illegal unless properly supported by physics.
-Intentional use of glitched terrain to kill or capture enemies is prohibited. These pits happen from time to time on accident and fair attempts to repair them must be made.
-Poisons are cowardly and have been rendered unusable on this server however alchemy retains all other functionality.

Settings:
-900 skill cap 10X skill multiplier.
-Judgment hour times: Tuseday, Thursday, Sunday from 10:30PM - 12:30AM EST (-5GMT).
-Tree growth speed increased.
-Unlimited prayer between -49 and 0 alignment.

How's the population?

We have several claims at the moment and a small cadre of dedicated players. All the desirable locations are still available. Also, in-game winter is nearly over now, so people will finally be able to grow things.

The server has a great balance of grind vs accomplishment and runs great. The GMs have stripped down the ruleset to prevent most sources of rules conflict.

For any group looking for a different experience, this is definitely a place to check out.
