You think they implemented these mechanics on purpose in order to act as a placeholder for ladders?

The mechanic is in place, because proper physics system was not made and because it allowed for more creativity with objects in YO. Since then it was severely nerfed, but never "fixed" as such feature (relatively fast climbing over walls) is needed and that works a gameplay placeholder till they are done with the proper climbing and siege ladders system.

shouldn't even exist. I understand that its in the game and people will exploit what they can but this is crazy. Say what you want but this is clearly floating items. What good is a personal/guild claim when a group of players can take everything away w/ little effort and quick resources. I don't want to log on after a month of hard work to have everything reclaimed and/or destroyed. I believe this kind of game play will ruin a game and discourage future players from playing the game. Im done ranting, lets hear it trolls and try hards

P.S.I am very impressed w/ the ingenious idea but still unfair. I would have never of thought about trying this.

Walls will be incredible useless in this Game.
Not a Single Guild will Manage to have someone Online at all times.
Even the Real Big ones with over 100 Members will often have their City being entirely Empty.
So if thats truly the reason why this is tolerated this Game will have a sad awakening in the future because Big Clans with over a Hundred Members will one Day log In to be greeted by Enemies Ambushing them as they just made themselves at home while the Guild was offline...
They really need to make NPCs or something else here to serve as Protection while People are Offline.
Otherwise there will never be a Single Working City in this Game.

If you want to be safe inside some walls the starting city is probably your best bet. There's also forest village....

Save your fingers Kildrith.
Jester isn't interested in learning or hearing anything from anyone else. He's got almost 30 posts and nearly 2 dozen hours in the game.
No need to spend any time listening to official pod casts or interviews, or reading Bobiks original vision or the FAQ in the wiki, or to investigate any of the hundreds of posts where players have contributed to the development of the game.
Nope, he's a certified expert on game design, and he will provide us with a resume proving that any time now.
