  • It would be nice if we could go over the skill cap, but it simply showing a warning.
That way we wouldn't have to lower a skill before we can raise another.
  • Intelligence is suppose to increase your peaceful skillcap by 1 per 1 Intelligence passed 10.
    (Default peaceful skillcap = 600 + Intelligence - 10)

You can change the skill cap at the bottom, hence why int doesn't effect the skillcap.

Yeah I noticed. ^^;

It will get annoying if your gonna restrict going over the skillcap when writing skill levels. (Same with stats)
Maybe just add a warning on the page that you have passed the limit?

I would suggest moving the skillcap input box and write the total skillcap after adding Intelligence where it is now.

Also can you make the stat links open in a new window/tab too? ^^

Hmm I'll add a warning instead of restricting. I changed all the links to open in new window.

Any chance this can get a sticky? It will be maintained throughout the course of the game.

I have updated the calculator to include effective skill level, and did a few minor fixes. If you guys can think of anything else you want added/fixed let me know!

Can this get a sticky please? It's much more functional than the .NET application that is already stickied, I'm not sure I understand why his has one and I don't to be honest.

I have redesigned the site so it doesn't look awful haha. If you notice it looks weird, just hit refresh (F5) to make sure you're not using a cached copy of the page!

Found a bug, or at least odd behavior. ^^;

If you set a whole skill line to 100 and then set the tier 1 skill in the line to 0, it sets the whole line to 0.
Would be better to not let you get below 60 if the next tier skill is above 29.99 and the like.

I don't know I agree there. If I do that then when you want to reset a tree, you'd have to punch in 0 into every skill which seems a bit tedious. I'll think of a solution. Thanks!

I am not too keen on coding but do you need any help with the "list of items you can make with current skill levels."?

Noticed a small bug, effective skill is recalculated only if you switch between skills or skill tabs but not when you change related primary or secondary attribute.

The skill calculator has been updated to include all craftable items in a list when you have the appropriate skill levels.

I guarantee that there will be at least a hiccup or two with it, so let me know if a link looks odd or the information is wrong.

If anyone wants to help out with this, I plan on adding all weapons once they're up on the wiki. So if you really want to contribute load up your game and figure out what skill is required for every weapon, and post it on the wiki. After that's done I'll apply the weapons to the list of stuff you can use.

Spent a few days truding through these wonderful XML files lol. Learned a lot of how this game actually runs. But here is a complete listing of all items along with:

Materials Required, Qty. Each, Tool Required, Skill Used, Skill lvl Required, Qty. Created, CreatingDuration, Skill Influence, Item Influence

The "LookupID" is a filtered list so you can filter down for whatever you are wanting through there.

Seems to be a bug on the Fishing/Hunting, Jewelry, Arts, Piety, Mentoring line. Cannot reset them to 0, and cannot set Piety to any value if Arts is not at 30/60.

Also - link doesn't seem to work.

Other than that - love the tool :)

Haha thanks, but I won't accept that compliment until I get the bug fixed. To be honest I hardly test in IE because I dread fixing the errors lol but I'll take a look.

EDIT: OK it's fixed :)

Even before it went down, there were some issues I noticed that made it unusable.

Instead I found the following that I've been using.

Figured I would post here since this is one of the top results for Life is Feudal Skill Calculator.

I have developed a web based version using the current skills in the game. If you are interested in checking it out you can view the sticky in this Forum:

I have been suing this calculator, and heartily recommend it.

A couple requests. If you reload the page, none of the information in the stats window get reset (including the textbox for pasting in a previous load). Can you change this so everything gets reset to the initial load?

Second, Bobik has indicated that the intelligence skill bonus will be modified to give 2 points for every point over 10. I know this isn't live yet, but can you add an option for players to plan for this?

Thanks!

It seems that it is a browser caching issue on your side. When I reload the page it resets everything to 0 and clears the save box.

Try CTRL + F5 as a reset which should do what you describe. If that works then I would look into your browser settings.

Additionally, because some may not be aware pgup and pgdn on the keyboard move the skills by 10 and up and down on the keyboard move the skills by 1.

Can you link to where that was stated. I don't mind adding a "2 per Int" checkbox to modify the calculation. I just haven't seen any official posting indicating that.
