0Now, I'm sure this has already come up, and if it has, please accept my apologies. "Crouching to use shields" is a game that I truly despise and find unplayable. I stopped utilizing shields after I realized that's how you utilize them in bedrock. Why modify it when every other game utilizes "Left trigger" to activate a block mechanic? It's been around for a long time and it still works? Now you want to bring it to the JAVA edition? Allow us to choose between "Crouch to use" and "Right Click/Use" if you do. Also, add that option to bedrock. I'm sure there are a number of players who would be grateful for this.
