I am predominantly a blacksmith in game and would love to see the system flushed out. Already in game we see iron ore and copper ore. I would love to see some more ores and minerals added into the game so as to make weapons and tools more diverse and to create more of a tech tree for the players to advance down. I propose to add tin to the game to make bronze and other minerals such as limestone and borax for flux. I also propose to replace the generic iorn ore with the three types of iron, Magnatite, Hemetite, and lemonite. With qualities being afected by the type of ore. In eal life magninite should have the best ore followed by Hemetite and lastly lemonite. With these new ores and such added to the game i feel that metla production should be changed as well. Curently you can smelt iron in the sarter furnaces and iron is verry common on the surface of the map. iron should be onlt able to be smelted in the bloomeries or maybe even a blast furnace what needed to be made out of stone and moter. With these changes copper and tin should spawn in small quantities on the surface but iron and the lager ore depositis should spawn farthur undeground. this would give reason to use the pospect skill.

-1currently there is not a true problem with the system in place but with these changes it creates more of a tech tree for people to explore and move up. As it currenlty stands there is really just primitive tools and metal tools.
I would like to see primitive tools, copper tools, bronze tools, wrought iron tools, and finally steel tools.
I base most of this from a minecraft mod i play called "Terrafirmacraft" which has such a tool tree. their system also has a balence system of having to create better furnaces to melt the metals. copper and bronze can be melted over a fire at low tempetures so early tools are possible but very weak. iron must be melted in a furnace and be hammered out of the iron bloom formed from this process. finally steel can only be produced at high temptures in a blast furnace which in game is the equivelant to a bloomary.Like Marekwelderos likes this post. -
