Pour water, making defence water ditches and ponds

Hello there
It would be awsome and I think very easy to add, option to collect water and then pour it on terraformed ditches around walls to make water defence obstacles, or maybe to make ponds to have fish (animal lore) for food

    Yes, many options and I think that is very easy to add it, and we get much more complicated raid on bases and stuff. But I would make a bit harder to done it, like that you need to pour like 10 000 water for ditch that surrounds 10x10 tiles base

    Would be much better if digging below water level would have water fill up on it's own.

    There seems to be quite the lack of water ditches these days, and I have no idea why and how it even got to this point. I was looking towards the prospect of installing a outdoor water filter when I came across this worrisome thing that there is a lack of such ditches. I am indeed quite worried about it all.
