    I love this idea, too. In the long run it's definitely something that should be made possible, even if right now it might not be a number one priority. Maybe in the *very long* run it could be possible to include a breeding system, so animals inherit properties from their ancestors? I'm thinking of a "step-by-step" way to tame a wolf and, some generations later, have it domesticated into a dog, dito for wild sheep and aurochs and all of them... and on the other hand, there could be other properties, such as fur colour and maybe patterns, plus some behaviourisms on top of the "peaceful" or "surrendering" quality you'd look for as regards domestication. Maybe also stuff like "strong", "fast", "nervous", "aggressive", "good milk cow", "good nose (dog)" etc.
