I think that different types of animals should be able to be tamed and breed.
for example the wolf can be used for multiple things a guard dog, a champion, hunting animal to track.
other animals can be implemented for example cats to keep rodents away.
just a though maybe everyone can expand on this idea

1I love the idea of having pets that actually do things. Perhaps there can be cats and spawn near barns and crop fields because of rodents. You can then tame them to keep them around. There can also be dogs that help you hunt small game, defend player against wild animals, and guard things. Speaking a hunting pet, maybe even add falconry -

0I agree with this as technically in ancient times this is what happened. Dogs still existed but sometimes hunters would kill wolves then take the puppies and choose the least aggressive and tame it. Also Falconry would be awesome as it is something from ancient times that is still practiced and competed with today! -
