0So you are basically hoping for your village to expand through exploration and have an active running military for the settlement as well? I don't see that happening, at least, not in the near future. The game really only revolves managing a small village of around 100-300 people. A town of that size doesn't really broker much for exploration, especially with the current engine.
Currently the game goes into great detail on close micromanagement of the hundred or so people you are in charge of. I don't really know the specs of the game, but I don't exactly think it would be able to handle calculating the movements and actions of 1000+ people, on the pc and user side. Could you imagine trying to micromanage more than a thousand individual people? That would be incredibly difficult I would think.
I'm not saying it's impossible, but it is unlikely given the current UI and how you currently rule and develop the population. -
