I mostly wanted to post this to see what people might think about these things.
Basic Magic: Keep in mind, 'basic' (although I would love to see advanced magic as well but), I was thinking something small like being able to cast a few spells in a real time day, something like creating light almost like a flare for battle (defense or offense). Possibly something as simple as growing crops quicker (nature magic). Perhaps a spell to charm animals. Or maybe even enchant weapons/armor (outside of potions/alchemy). I suppose the magic school could be apart of alchemy as they tend to go hand in hand.
Basic stealth: Once again, I personally don't want a 'broken' feature like full stealth where you are sowing your crops and suddenly a blade protrudes out from under your rib cage from an assassin out of thin air. I'm thinking more like noise reducing mechanics (soft steps), maybe some camoflauge clothing and or base building netting. Maybe even some kind of slight human tracking (a type of realistic tracking that could only be found with fresh to give an edge to a light armored/weaponed assassin). Also, even though this next bit is a bit off topic, I would love to have one of my buddies ridding a horse pulling a cart wielding no weapon and wearing only a monk type outfit, the cart looks to be carrying goods in large supply, suddenly bandits leap out to attack and loot the unsuspecting peddler when they are met with defenders out from hiding within the cart!
Hopefully, I have at the very least given those who care about LiF:YO and the pending MMO some good for thought to improve the game we love, thank you.
