Even after a few harvests or slaughterings one has very large quantities of food. A decay rate for food would counteract this. A fast rate for meat and cabbage for example, a slow for potatoes and cereals. When stored accordingly.

    It is not for health to eat decay food rather it is dangerous to eat such foods. Many notes full to a conversation about the decay foods time 4 writing for people to help and avoid them to get rid of this type of food.
