I think some kind of diseases should be implemented in the game, like plague, leprosy, cold and so on. This could also make the skill healer go into medecine instead of alchemy. We could use herbs and others ingredients to concoct an antidote to differents illness.
You could get ill from different source:
-Low quality water containing bacteria
-Food made from infected animal
-Not being properly dressed against the weather
-Spreading virus like the plague
-Infection from a wound not healed or treated
Also it would be interesting to also have diseases for animals, trees and crops. So you would have to watch for that and it would prevent trees from spreading so fast. Maybe it couldnt be a disease but more like an insect that attack this type of tree/crop and it would force player to use biodiversity when planting a tree farm.
