It can be really annoying if you drop something and can't pick it up anymore when the timer runs out.
Please implement an indicator if you're on a tile (or click one) where you can lose stuff, e.g. a warning-triangle with a clock in it.
Please provide different colors or patterns for different claim types (in claim view: F4) for no-pickup and no-walk (e.g. diagonal lines and crossed lines or lighter and darker color).
Thus would make traveling easier 'cause you can avoid no-walk zones in the first place. (especialy in dense areas)
