Tools to create own maps. I know I have shovel but it is really slow to change recent land from island to continent just by shovel.
I understands its a looooooong shot, but especially for Roleplaying servers is really painfull if admin cannot deliver his own world vision with all historical aspects he wants to add into lore.
It is Life Is Feudal: Your Own, but you cant do "Your Own Map" for your players. In game you creators take probably most of inspiration - Ultima Online - was possible to create own map via various tools on free servers and it helps alot to expand community of players.

1I promoted this idea in another thread. So far, it got shot down to a -3. Apparently people like using the same map over and over. I however want more maps and random maps to work with. Too many people go to the same spot on multiple servers because we already know where all the iron is at on the maps. Same with other elements, like the silk wurms etc etc. After a while, there is no reason to go "prospecting" to find iron when you already know where its at. -

0I forgot the name, I think it was WorldBuilder or some common name like that, but they commented on sites wanting to create custom maps or view their current map that the version they used has been adapted for their own use but is in no way near ready to share with a larger public, to quirky with weird ways to get things done. -

0This idea needs more attention. Now that it is clear that Life is Feudal: Your Own and the MMO are two separate products, they really should make this a feature in YO. The same map for every single player server gets really old fast. So a tool for the server creator to generate a map or a random generator with seeds should do the trick. Perhaps it can have a limited size so it would still make both YO and the MMO fun to play together. One interesting feature for the map toolkit would perhaps finally add some different climates. Like creating a snowy island for example, or a desertic one, and so on. Resources could be spawned differently depending on the weather, perhaps even different wild animals, like polar bears for a snowy place and camels for a desert. -
