I beg you, please make a super-bad-ass-man mode for those that fancy an extra challenge.
You can chose to become a super-bad-ass player at any moment, but you may never return to being an average Joe.

Basically, if killed by another player, they may chose to kill you permanently.
So, why would anyone be crazy enough to opt for this?

How about bragging rights in the form of a title? Maybe the ability to unite guilds and claim the throne? A fancy cape? You tell me!
Personally, I'd prefer something which offers no combat advantage.

I don't think you should be banned from using the server again after death, but having to create a new character after death I support.

In principle I agree, but wouldn't that give griefers with -20000 alignment a way to reset their character?

Sounds cool. This way, people actually fear death and don't throw themselves like idiots. People can use fear to get what they want. A bigger guild can intimated smaller guilds. Sure some people probably will hop right back in their guild after making a new character because their old character died, but they going need to work their way up, all over again.

I also like to add, this will make powerful players fearful of fighting and making a realistic way of fighting. OF how the powerful class always used the lower/poor class to fight for their wars. Never would you see some rich fancy pants being drafted into a war, or actually volunteering (that is rare) but you'll see many common folks or people in poverty being force to fight.

Where I'm getting at is the lower/poor class will be the people whos skill levels aren't very high. So for them, dying isn't a big deal, such as a fresh spawn dying isn't that big of a deal compare to someone (rich/powerful) who been playing on the same server for a months and has high skills max out and other prestige.
