Hey, Feudalists!
This week we’ve been working on a patch, which will include a bunch of optimizations and some tweaks, some of which you’ve been looking forward to. Stay tuned, it’s coming out really soon.
In other news, we are really close to starting tests of our *nix OS server build on the production servers. We are going to be using this new operating system on our servers; it is much more suited to high loads and heavy demands placed on the hardware. This will allow us to remove virtualization, which is a layer between the game software and servers’ hardware, causing multiple exotic infrastructure bugs during the operation of the game. Server-side calculations and networking performance should also be significantly improved when we introduce *nix OS! We are really looking forward to this.
And great news for event organizers! We recently finalized our system for supporting and incentivizing player-run events. And that means if you or your guild would like to host a tournament, market, feast, or anything in-between, do not hesitate to reach out and work with our event team, they’ll be glad to help. If you already have something in mind, please feel free to send your event ideas to team@lifeisfeudal.com or directly to Paul F on the Life is Feudal Discord. We look forward to supporting your ideas!
And of course, don’t forget to subscribe to our event calendars, so that you don’t miss a thing:
Have a great weekend!
