It bugs me a little bit, that it is that easy to collect water. You just go to a water source (well, lake, sea) and click 'collect water' and then a leatherbag full of water apears in your inventory. But where did you get that bag from?
There should be containers for liquids and it should be impossible to collect water without a container like this.

1I know that there are already some fluid containers in the game, but this request is about making it more complicated to collect and store water ;-) Also I am actually not sure if cups and jugs are actually usable containers, or just decorative items?
And yes, it would be an easy change, but one with a big effect on resource gathering and preparing. -

1We got barrels already would be a bit of work to code it, but a simply bucket could be used to haul water to the barrels in your store house, or you could get some one to make a wheelbarrow with a barrel strapped in it for larger water hauls. The catch is realistically storing water in bulk is not advised, it gets stale and nasty in barrels after a while, as is I just gather water fresh from my well as needed. -

1Spoilage is not yet implemented but it should though, i will request it.
Water that is stored properly should not spoil that easy. There should be buildings like a reservoir or constructions, which collect rainwater, to make it easier to have a steady supply of fresh water.
Also, stale water can still be used to prepare tea or brew beer. -
