Would be a good idea if primitive tools had a cap of 50 quality. Within the early stages of the game, most of the time it's better to use primitive tools over metal ones when it comes to crafting, since it's easier to make them of high quality. This is before you actually have a bloomery or a blacksmith's shop. I find this kind of unusual. The moment I get metal tools in the game, I'd like to throw away all of my primitive ones. I also don't like the idea of having the combination of both. A perfect example of this is a pickaxe. The metal one is great for durability, but it's terrible for crafting because the chances are that your metal pickaxe is very low quality compared to your primitive one. Also, I don't see how you can have a high quality primitive tool in the first place.
