I'm 38 hours in. I've played Banished and have gotten ALL the achievements there so I kinda know what I'm doing. That said, I think that there's a balance issue with Foresters. They just don't produce enough.

I know that there's a MOD that makes for denser forests and I'm tempted to start using it but it would require starting yet another new village.

I'm just hoping that this can be tuned in the base game going forward.

The problem with making it denser is that it also increases the wild animals and not everyone wants that.
