Hey guys, Im from dawntide, a sandbox mmo about to go live, pretty well known there, as I am in the oldest faction around.

What I was wondering is if you are only able to play in first person veiw, thats a big turn off for me, I cant stand it, its why I never played mortal online for more than a week.
Other than that, this looks like crazy fun:)....found it on mount and blade forums, and idea when a beta might be out?

I've tested Dawntide off and on myself, but was always sort of dissapointed in the combat system. Darkfall, Mount and Blade and Mortal Online have all ruined my patience for anything non-twitch, but I do love the building system in Dawntide.

We're all just refugees looking for the perfect MMO!

Dawntide is puting in a new combat system, what that will be, even I dont know...Btw Im legolan ingame, from knights of marr, you might know of me.

Like I said, I haven't really played very much of Dawntide. Knights of Marr? Is that a reference to the Everquest god Marr?

I liked the direction Dawntide was trying to go with the balance, speed, etc. system, but auto attack systems are going the way of the dinosaur. Even though twitch is a huge drain on resources its just the way of the future in MMOs.

It is, but there was a sec of knights that we took it from also....We started off over 10 years ago in a few other games, we have over 1000 members now across the mmo world.

I despise third-person view unless the game was designed around it. Also, people who play in third-person when there's a FP option who think they're good... I despise them too.

Also, I recently removed Dawntide from my computer.
