Welcome to the Kingdom of Akhaya server. This server seeks to create a playing environment for LiF:YO that best matches the end goals of the LiF Development team, despite the current incomplete state of the game. On the Akhaya server, we encourage the building of settlements, the raiding of settlements, kingdom wars and politics, and trading. The server rules and the GM group that administers the server are in place to create solid gameplay experiences for all, in a fair and impartial manner. Those who cannot adhere to the server rules, or would seek to use glitches, grief or troll others, or be generally disrespectful to the playerbase or GM staff will be removed.



This server is not like any other server you will find out there.

We have boats that transport you around the map.
We have the ability to place arrows and bolts on our hips.
Armor on our server will save your life
Raiding naked puts you are a extremely high risk of dieing
We have currency so trading among players and NPC grows the economy
Server Events like tourneys and wars
Adjustments made so that raiding a settlement allows you to access unattended chest, carts and other accessible storage areas. (Buildings are still safe from Raiders).
We have wild horses that roam the lands
We offer a rich RP environment for all to enjoy


The community of Arkhaya welcomes new faces and look to embrace anyone wanting to start a new in this rich world. Many of those here with us now have been together for some time and we are always looking to grow those numbers. It is easy to find a home here find new friends. Come join us...


While all of the above is for your enjoyment it is important to realize that we do not have a carebear server. Life is Feudal...it is important to realize that. The world is a dangerous place and we are not a server that gives you the ability to advance your character in a day to its peak...and we do not have a server were one player can do everything so there is no need to every join a faction.

We are running at a 1300 skill cap and a 6x multiplier... so we encourage cooks to create food that helps get you those bonuses. This server may not be perfect for everyone but for those that are looking for a long term place to settle down we offer that. Give us a go and see what you think.

Feedback is always welcome, while we can't make everyone happy I think we have created a foundation for which all other servers should be measured.

Also if you are concerned with a fresh wipe this close to Patch...don't be...we have already planned to put in place a reimbursement system when the patch comes out if it requires a forced wipe....yes we try to plan ahead.

So here are some of things we added for this go around.

We now have a search bar in the construction tabs now to help look for those hard to find building plans and wait...soon for you bag as well.

We have added some mass production abilities to digging tunnels and cooking

We have a working marketplace/auction house up and running. Not only can it be accessed from in game but anyone with a monument can post and sell on it.

Our alignment system is in place. You defend or loot on your own factions claim, you do not lose alignment. Why would you? You are defending your home and lands. Sparring and training with your faction mates. No loss of alignment. Why would you? You were training.

Our Monastery is in place. If you have become a criminal and cannot pray anymore this is where you go. It costs silver because any pious man needs to tithe but at the end of the day you can attempt to melt that -200 criminal status away.

We have all of our mods that we previously have had:

Armor is modded to lengthen battles and show your true weapon skill. Any noob can grab a warscythe and go kill T3 armor in vanilla...we dare you to try that here.

We are old school, you can pick up items on a claim, loot crates in the open, steal someones fields, pick up the bubbling tubs if they are ready to harvest. You believe in PvP and a full loot system...well we have it.

Putting away your horse takes time, no more players running you over all the time just to go over the hill pick up there horse and put it back down to give it a quick heal.

We have honest to god siege towers. No more making log ladders to get over the walls. No more hoping that the logs touch or you have to make a physics correct stairwell of logs to enter a base.

We have statues for you crazy crafters that want to beautify your base.

We have a Large Viking Church. In time it will do the same as the Monastery.

We have weapons added. Not many and hopefully more to come soon.

You can Bind to Keeps.

We have an economy. Keeps spawn in silver at random parts of the day.

There is so much more that I cannot even think of at the moment.


I want to take a second to talk about out 600 skill point 1 x multiplier for the server. We are a modded server so by no means do we consider ourselves a MMO prep server. But I do feel we have to do some preparation for our playerbase for the MMO. We have found with the new skill tree that 600 skill points is very intuitive and that a 1 times multiplier makes farming and cooking more critical jobs for a faction as well as raising the value of good food and farming seeds as loot.

tl:dr....we have a badass server check us out there is a lot of room to build this iteration

The mods that have been added to this server, especially the recipes (which apparently were in the original before being dumb downed for YO), is fantastic.

Makes crafting more meaningful, and raiding more realistic. Plus, the mods are self installing once setup.
